Utterly Fantastic Classic TV show from the truly Golden Age of Television with superb writing, great guest stars, wonderful music, fantastic performances from all the cast members and guest stars, and enough humor and gags and action and plot to please anyone - from 5 to 105 years old!! Many Thanks to Adam and Burt Ward and all the cast and guest bad guys for giving us all such a wonderful uplifting and entertaining show!! Thank you for this wonderful DVD tribute to this great show! Deleted Title = uncorrected episodes & needs replacement disc from WB
Apparently, syndication added extra elements to certain episodes, and Warner Bros. offers free discs containing those missing bits of perfection. New pressings of this set are supposed to have included those corrections. (I can't confirm this as fact.) But I think that's a big part of why these sets are so inexpensive. Other than that trivia, however, the sound and picture are beautiful. Of course don't expect 4K hi-fi, but it's way better than the bleary fuzz on MeTV. (And here, there aren't the modern commercials breaking into the mid-late 60's television mood.)Apparently, syndication added extra elements to certain episodes, and Warner Bros. offers free discs containing those missing bits of perfection. Wow ! I've been wanting to get this since my childhood. So many episodes it will make your head spin. As a child, the only time I could watch this was when visiting my father every other weekend. He always had the cool channels and this was my favorite ! So cool to see all the villains again, there were some I totally forgot about. The Joker was always a favorite, freaked me out as a kid, but in a good way. The Riddler, the Penguin, and a few I must have missed as a kid. This set fulfilled my childhood Batman craving quite well. Good, clear picture and good sound quality make it even better. If you loved it as a child, I highly recommend buying it now.Wow ! The Most Exciting Television Series Home Video Release since Star Trek.
This is quite literally the Holy Grail of television series. I mostly borrow disc sets from the library and haven't rented a DVD in years, but "Batman The Complete Television Series" was definitely one to buy. I paid a sensational price for my copy, and it only took a couple of days for it to arrive. Over the weekend I was watching some of my favorite episodes as well as some not-so-favorites. As the years have gone by, I warmed up to some of the episodes I didn't like much and I saw them with a new pair of eyes. The digital remastering makes you feel like you're watching this for the first time, and that's how I felt this weekend. One thing I wasn't very crazy about, but it's a small issue - some discs have more episodes than others, and there's one disc that doesn't have ... It comes with a very informative 32-page booklet listing episodes on each disc and giving a brief synopsis, which is a tremendous help when you consider my home video Batman experience was a string of bootleg sets, one promising to be better than the other, and none of that was the case in the least. If you're a Batman fan who loved the series, you absolutely must pick up a copy for yourself if you haven't already. This has to be the most exciting television series home video release since Star Trek.

This is one of my own personal sought after collections that I have bin waiting for .(for some time) Well this and the MONKEES LoL !- And I got it for a great deal on eBay....but patiently had to wait for the "newness" to wear off so the price would drop. So drop it did...and I couldn't be happier for it. If you ever wanted to have this for your own personal collection... Now is the time because I cant imagine it getting any cheaper than what its going for right now. To the Batcave Robin ............dun nun nah na Nun nun nah na BATMAN !!Holy redbox Batman !
