The Sims are returning to PS2, only this time they have a case of cabin fever and are itching to explore the great outdoors. The Sims Bustin' Out offers a completely new neighborhood to visit and over 40 different types of characters to interact with. Instead of just taking a stroll out on the sidewalk, players can have their Sims purchase cars or scooters and visit such destinations as a gym, a nightclub, or even the neighborhood house party. <br><br>Social moves can once again be acquired to round out the Sims' personalities, including a towel snap, moonwalk dance, and 78 additional actions to annoy or to impress others. Items like a climbing wall or a high dive can be placed outside for added fun, and the lineup of potential careers has increased by ten, incorporating such offbeat roles as mobster, athlete, mad scientist, and fashion victim. Designed to offer "ten times" the amount of replay as the first title, Bustin' Out features multiple ways to win the game.<br><br>Players are now free to jump from different careers and levels in an attempt to access additional objects and locations. Two-player support is available throughout the game instead of being confined to a separate mode, so players can work for or against each other while building their characters. Each Sim also possesses an individual personality, which is exhibited through body language. Players can save their Sims to a memory card, and bring them over to a friend's house for more Bustin' Out action.

    GBA is Better

    Firstly, it's more dated than I expected. I played the Gameboy version, which was graphically more appealing. Bustin Out played more like classic Sims, a life simulator, and less like the GBA version, a life RPG. I would have appreciated more RPG elements, more involved story, the better chat system. It all depends on what you like.

    After buying, playing, and beating The Sims, I decided it would be fun to give this sweet looking second outing, and I was right! In the first one, you are living with your mom, move out, get married, have kids, and enjoy the good life. This is just practally the same thing with alot more background, unlockables, things to do, OH YEAH, you can visit relatives and neighbors in this one! In short, it's the same thing just polished. However, this does not mean it is a bad game. This is by far one of the most inovated games I have ever played! (I've not played The Sims 2). When you move your character around, it always feels freash and slightly different. Making this a game you MUST rent/buy. Although of all the greatness and fun of this classic, it does have its set backs. When ...

    The Sims Bustin' Out is AWESOME!

    We LOVE the Sims' games. Bustin' Out is no exception. The create-a-sim is not as good as the PC version, as you can't add your own face to it, and customize the clothes, but that is the only thing lacking. When you play with the lawn gnomes, you can get unlimited money and health to make the game easier. Without the lawn gnomes, you have the choice to become a Movie Star, Mad Scientist, Gangster, Fashion Victim, Paramilitary, Counter Culture, Jock, or even a Rock Star, a professional Slacker, Artist, Computer Geek, or you could even make your millions as a sneaky Swindler! This game TOTALLY rocks! You can build up your house (as with most other sim games). There are even cheat codes you can get free online at specific websites that tell you how to do things like walk around naked, play ...
