    Great performing desktop switch

    Every so often you need a small network switch to provide connectivity, bandwidth and versatility in odd locations, and don't want to fork out huge costs for rack-mounted devices. Here's where Netgear fills the gap. Simple, performs well, solid and reliable, they keep going and going without fail (and in the event something does happen, they are cheap to swap out and get everything back online). Low power consumption too. I have a few of these in my "Bag of Tricks" to fill the need. This last time, we brought in a team of contractors, who all sat around a large desk and table, and needed network connectivity more reliable and secure than wireless. Problem solved.
