    Cradle of Filth: Thornography

    Bought this album to complete my collection of Cradle of Filth. Only listened to it once. Will take a few more plays before some tracks stand out. The cd arrived in excellent quality and I'm happy about that.

    Not a huge fan of screaming metal, but I love this cd.

    I'm into hard rock and I like the occasional scream, but I was a bit skeptical about buying this cd. I love the song "The Foetus of a New Day Kicking", so I watched the music video, along with others, and I freaked out. This band is crazy evil. I bought it anyway, because it was so cheap, and I ended up loving almost all the songs. There's something about his voice that I like, and the guitarists and drummer rock hard. Two songs are entirely guitar solos, which reminded me of Metallica. They even mix in a little orchestra instruments in some songs. The only thing I don't like are the lyrics about death and hell. I heard their previous albums were better, but I recommend this cd to any hard rocker.

    Thornography by Cradle of Filth

    The music on this album is wonderful! This is a more "mainstream" album, I guess, but it is still dark, hard hitting, and awesome.
