The Canon PIXMA MX420 printer is a wireless multi-function device for printing text and graphics documents. This Canon PIXMA all-in-one inkjet printer prints 5 inches per minute in color mode, and up to 8.7 inches per minute in monochrome (black only) mode. The small-sized Canon printer rolls out pages in 600 x 600 dots per inch resolution in black and 4800 x 1200 dpi in color mode. The Canon PIXMA MX420 printer also scans in 1200 x 2400 dots per inch. This Canon PIXMA all-in-one inkjet printer connects to any Windows or Apple Mac computer. This Canon printer has built-in Fax, Bluetooth, Cable, PictBridge, USB, and wireless LAN connectivity.

    Best printer!!

    I love this printer, it's logical and easy to use. The drivers and software can be downloaded from the Canon web site, very easy to set up. It's the only printer I can find that has "auto crop" for scanning photo's, a huge time saver. Just make sure you plug it into a surge protector, I lost my first one because of a power surge. I was lucky enough to find another one on e-bay, as it is no longer available from Canon, why...I don't know, it's the best home printer they have ever made. All the newer home printers out there look and feel cheap, and do not have the features this Canon Pixma MX420 has. It works well with Windows 10 and stays connected to Wifi.

    Great Value for the money!

    Great printer! I really like its design. The feeder is pretty slow, but alright. Its speed of printing is pretty fast in color and black and white. I don't like the scanning program. The ink is ok. I love the price, I paid $120. Set up was easy. It prints photos on photo paper is very high quality and faster than most other printers.

    Great wireless printer at a super price.

    I had so many machines sitting around the house that I wanted an all-in-one printer so I could eliminate a printer with a scanner and a separate fax machine. I have not used this printer that much but I do love the wireless scan option and the fact that I can also print wirelessly. The printer setup was fairly easy and the on screen printer icons are a big help. The fact that this printer comes with an actual paper user manual is a super big plus. I am happy with this printer so far and have not found anything to dislike about it yet.

    Superb value for price paid; would definitely recommend.

    I bought it because of an article/chatter I read about it being sometimes cheaper to just buy a new printer than purchase the ink to some printers (as I already own a printer that is packed somewhere). This faxer/printer/copier did the trick. For a very nominal fee I upgraded the old printer that I always neglected to get new cartridges for. I made sure that ink for this particular model is cheap (it is). I like that it has an USB slot for easy handling of scans. I dislike that it takes a bit to (properly) shutdown, but it is a minor complaint in the grand scheme. E

    Great value for home use!

    Easy to set up and easy to use. Great print quality. Only downside - documentation claims that this printer works with Windows 2000. After several hours of searching, I'm pretty sure that the oldest drivers are for Windows XP.
