    Seller specifies PC in item description, but offered me excellent support/instructions for my Mac, download is slow due to large file, had slight issues to move to correct location on SD card which seller talked me through (mv command on OSX shell on SD worked fine for me). Update took just over 1 hour. NB For other buyers if your car shuts down during the update/you accidentally remove the SD card DONT PANIC! I turned ignition and re-inserted the card and it completed without problems.

    Item came by electronic delivery, almost immediately as promised in comments. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The instructions have you download the MB map update download manager and pick the right update for your car, then that download takes a while (because large), then you put that media in the car and the car autoupdates from that, using the code provided. Worked smoothly, although (like the download, because large data set) takes long time. Very happy. A++.

    I had my doubts, but it worked. Just make sure to follow the instructions and have the right capacity sd card/flash drive. Also, be prepared to sit in your car for about an hour or so. I have a 2015 ML-350 and it had the original 2015 map version on it. The seller will provide you with the links to download everything you need and the code needed that your mercedes will prompt you for. The dealership wanted way more to do the upgrade and I wasn't going to pay it. Definitely worth it!
