Cheap, but gets the job done!
This is a very good unit to have for first timers. It is easy to use, has lots of features for those who would like to do a little more than navigate. You cannot update the maps, so you are using old data, but this has rarely been a problem in the three years I have used it. I have always been able to get to my destination 100% of the time, despite this drawback. If you do not have an iPod, you can also play music through this unit. I have never tried it. Overall, a great basic unit that you can find for cheap!This is a very good unit to have for first timers. THESE ARE A JOKE THEY LOSE THERE GPS SIGNAL MORE THAN THEY FIND IT. IN A TWO HOUR TRIP THE GPS MAYBE HAD SIGNAL FOR 45 SECONDS OUT OF THE TRIP!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY A REAL GPS. HERE ARE SOME GOOD BRANDS TOMTOM,MAGELLAN AND GARMIN. THERE PRODUCTS WANT LEAVE YOU LOST (EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE A GPS RECEIVER)!

Good Value GPS
Works very nicely and is sleek, but directions it gives aren't always accurate. Also, sometimes it doesn't recognize certain city names if there are two options i.e. a specific neighborhood versus the actual city name.

this thing sucks
not worth wasting your time or money with it. it's an old and outdated version of gps, this model in particular is unable to be updated with current maps and is very slow to respond as I found out going to and from santa monica ca
