This book, in its time, was very helpful at understanding the saga of the Ultima series. It gives insight into the beginnings of a small business enterprise and how it grew to be a massive success. Richard Garriot, the founder of Origin and the original creator of the Ultima series is portrayed as a "real" person who wrote his first software in the closet where he lived. This is excellent reading for anyone looking for clues to the classic series of Ultima or as a biography of Origin systems and its members from day one.
