About this product

Product Information

An after-school favorite of young viewers throughout the late-1980s, DUCKTALES chronicled the wacky adventures of millionaire Scrooge McDuck (Donald Duck's uncle) and his mischievous feathered nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie. As Scrooge constantly thinks up new ways to expand his wealth, the boys help out by guarding his gold from the villainous Beagle Boys. With each episode, the gang finds itself immersed in a new series of animated journeys, often in search of treasure. While Scrooge may be protective of his wallet, he also develops a soft spot for the young ducks Donald Duck left in his care after joining the Navy. Often joining in for the ride are recurring characters like Gyro Gearloose, Mrs. Beakley, Webbigail Vanderquack, and of course the Beagle Boys.

    Lost episodes?

Its great that Disney finally decided to complete this wonderful cartoon. Its just too bad that it would take over 20 years for them to do so. The episodes on this DVD is very varying in quality, both in picture as in sound so understandibly why some episodes never got released. Is those damages caused by neglect or bad original source, i dont know but guess some episodes can be found on the web to be restored for better quality. But in the end its great that the rest of the episodes now are available on DVD, next step is to release it in 1 single box so you dont have to do detective work to find out if the box fits into what you currently own, and after that release it in various european languages too for nostalgia

  • Bring back Classic Disney!

Here's a series that I was able to sit through and watch from start to finish. (All one hundred episodes!) This was a series that I never saw as a kid and boy, did I ever miss out! The later addition of the character Bubba didn't thrill me but it wasn't enough to hurt this wonderful show. The premise of the show is simple. It involves three intelligent, trouble-making boys who happen to be the nephews of Donald Duck. Donald can no longer take care of the boys because he wants to join the navy so he turns to his uncle Scrooge for help. After some resistance, his uncle Scrooge takes the boys and that's where the series begins. Each episode follows uncle Scrooge as he goes on his adventures, tries to educate his grand-nephews and goes about running his business. After all, he didn't become ...

  • Ducktales is Wonderful and timeless Masterpiece

Though I haven't received it yet, Ducktales is a very wonderful program for everybody to watch. Personally, I like Ducktales for the storytelling which is based on the comics by Carl Barks and other great Disney artists including the great Don Rosa who pretty much invented the Ducktales layout including the Money Bin. For me, all episodes are my favorites, but I am partial to the ones that are closer to home including episodes such as "Armstrong" where a robot plots to take over the world from Gyro's lab, "The Money Vanishes" where the Beagle Boys manage to trick Scrooge into spraying a potion that Gyro invented onto his money, and "Earthquack" where Scrooge ends up in cavern popluated by strange rolling beings who produce earthquakes as part of their "Olympic Games" though the only ...

  • Finally! My collection is complete!!

I've loved watching Ducktales when I was a kid and as an adult I adore the show even more!!! Having gotten all three volumes and movie I thought for sure that Disney would never release the 4th volume I was surprised and giddy when after so many years I finally found the 4th volume. Got it and love Ducktales even more!!

  • One duck, two ducks, Scrooge has got the most bucks, DuckTales!!!!

DuckTales, ah-woo-hoo! Everyday my kids ask for their DuckTales, ah-woo-hoo! The first season was full of fun and feather-raising adventure, so let the second season begin... If you're looking for a great way to spend some family time, or a show you can let your children watch without any worry of offensive behavior, you've found it with Disney's fowl friends. The good times are never-ending (especially when you restart the disc) in Duckburg with the DuckTales gang!
