The series has become the standard for PC flight sims, with many third-party developers creating add-ons and mods that bring new planes and scenarios to the basic structure past verisions of the Microsoft game. This title is designed to live up to its heritage.<br><br>The 2002 edition improves upon its predecessors by adding several features designed to provide a richer, more realistic experience. New aircraft includes the Boeing 747-400 and the Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP. Pilots who brave the busy airports will interact with an air traffic control tower to guide them safely through the crowded skies. The program can also generate appropriate scenery "on the fly," adding buildings and vegetation suitable to the areas the player travels above. New planes, visual effects, and activities also enhance play in this edition.

    2002 Flight simulator

    While the game is good, I am having problems running this on Windows 10. It does play but if you wish to change the settings while you are playing it, the program crashes.

    Excellent choice for new aircraft flight simulation

    I had purchased this product several years ago, however, due to a divorce, the application was lost. I was very pleased to locate a copy on e-bay. Everything about this flight simulator is great. You have several choices of aircraft to fly, the graphics are wonderful and the missions are a challenge. Very satisfied.

    Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002

    I bought it to fly the Bell 206 JetRanger. I love the characteristics of the model and how realistically it flys. It came highly recommended from actual pilots, and also includes flight school. I only wish my computer could handle the newest one FSX. There are more models to choose from. Overall I give it high marks for great sim flying for cheap money.

    Flight Simulator 2002

    This game will be good for people who's computers don't match up to run newer editions of FS. For being quite a few years old, this game is still the high-graphic game that you would expect out of MSFS
