Deluxe three CD + DVD numbered edition comes in a 112 page essay book plus 64 page scrapbook and includes bonus audio of eight unreleased demos plus b-sides, along with a DVD featuring previously unreleased archive footage and multiple music videos. Also includes downloadable high-resolution audio. The original album has been remixed using the original analog multi-track tapes and mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London. Tug of War, originally released in 1982, is the third solo album by Paul McCartney. The album was produced by George Martin and includes numerous guest musicians, including Stevie Wonder, Carl Perkins, and Ringo Starr. Tug of War reached #1 on both the US and UK charts and received a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year in 1983.

One of Paul McCartney's Masterpieces Gets Deluxe Treatment
The production of this album stands as some as the best engineered and produced in the 1980's and still sounds great today. A real treat is added bonus disc of the remix of the entire album, which in my opinion really wasn't needed, and at times has a bit to much reverb, but it's a good chance to listen to the album with a different approach. After a couple of album's that were not big sellers and panned by critics, Tug of War back in 1982 feels like a big McCartney comeback. Some of his greatest recorded moments for the next seven years can be found on this album. It wasn't until 1989's Flowers In the Dirt that he regained some steam. Not that the albums in between were total duds, but Tug of War and Flowers In the Dirt are the type of stand-out McCartney Masterpieces in his cannon of ... It's like having library editions of your McCartney albums and they have a nice 'feel' to them in this day and age of downloads where you can't touch a physical product or the artwork. This is for collector's!
