    Go get yourself some early ZZ Top

    ZZ Top has made a lot of great music over the years (decades actually), but in my opinion their early blues cuts are second to none. Most people know them from their mainstream hits, but a dive in to their catalog will open your eyes to just how great these 3 guys were together. Sometimes it's hard to believe that all of that sound is coming from only 3 musicians, plus the fact that they did it with their own unique style, makes this just plain cool. Most of these tracks are pure blues, plain & simple, but hint at the signature sound that was to come for ZZ. Whether you're a casual ZZ Top fan, a blues fan, a rock n roll fan, or all of the above, these are some low down dirty tracks that will make you think about growing a beard & wearing some dark (& cheap) sunglasses.

    Christmas gifts

    I am trying to get as many or all of the ZZ top CD's that I can. My husband absolutely loves this band. We saw them in concert this year. I haven't listened to this yet. I hope he is pleased.

    It's Billy Gibbons playing guitar ...so what's not to love!

    Great compilation that included most of their early blues tunes but how can you include "Bar-B-Q" (not really a blues tune) and leave out "Blue Jean Blues"?
