I like Kodak printers, good quality, not necessarily inexpensive, but this one was a great deal. Bit of trouble setting up cloud printing, but otherwise no complaints.

Kodak discontinued inkjet printer production in 2013. For consumers, this means Kodak printers will gradually fade away. As of July 2016, there are enough of them around so that you can occasionally get a good deal on a used unit that will give you good performance for a year or two. Sometimes you can get lucky and even find a new one. Kodak is still making money selling ink supplies, which is fortunate, as Kodak printers can fuss a bit on generic inks. This is my first Hero 6.1. Prior to this purchase, I purchased 3 Kodak printers, which used the same style ink cartridges. Two are headed for the recycling center, one (the only one bought new) has performed well over two years. My HERO 6.1 was purchased with one flaw, an easily bypassed problem using the down arrow (we cycle through the ... Kodak discontinued inkjet printer production in 2013. Getting Windows 10 to recognize the printer via Kodak Aio software was frustrating. The printer for some reason recognized the computer, but the Kodak Aio software on the computer, while acknowledging the existence of the printer, refused multiple times to communicate with it. This went on for some time before--ta da!--Kodak software finally said hi to the printer. What a hassle. Print quality is great & the printer is doing well now. Buy with caution. Read sale descriptions of used units carefully. You will need some patience getting these units to work happily with Windows 10. The era of Kodak inkjet printers is fading away. For quality printing, it was great while it lasted.

STAY CLEAR!!!!
When I bought this it was a GREAT printer and scanner. It was full Duplex for BOTH scan and print. After about two months, it started to have print head problems. Kodak "support" (I put it in quotes because this was the ABSOLUTE W O R S T support I have ever experienced. The "support" person spoke such bad English, and had a very thick Indian accent plus the phone connection was so bad that I only was able to hear one syllable in three. When I asked for an American support person, they said there would be a day and a half wait to get someone in the US!!! YES you read that correct A DAY AND A HALF!!!! When I FINALLY got a call back from a support person in the US (5 days later), I still got someone with a very thick Indian accent again, but this time the phone connection was ... Now I have a good scanner that doesn't print. Kodak USED to be a great company who made the BEST film (Kodachrome) and had the best processing!!! I guess their customer (UN)service is what caused this once great company to fade into oblivion!!!

Perfect
I have a 2150 , 9250 , 3150 all are dead. But i really like them and enjoyed them until they broke.... Kodak has stopped making printers, i purchased another type and have not been complete happy due to the heavy use of ink, ink cost and quality of work!!! I purchase this one due to cost of ink, quality of print, and more prints for the buck!!!

Great printer and the cheapest ink on the market, My guest are blown away,
I loved the WIFI feature, all of my guest are blown away I brought this printer because I was tied of running down stairs to the den when I needed to print something out. I first a rebuilt model from Big lots and loved it so much that i decided to try this one. I'm going to grad school and I write a paper a day. I send picutes from my smart phone straight to the printer, and they come out great.
