About this product

Product Information

Alex Corvis (Eric Mabius) is back from the dead after receiving the electric chair for murdering his girlfriend, Lauren Randall (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe). In the guise of the Crow, Alex has returned in order to take revenge on the real murderer and to set the justice system straight. Lauren's little sister, Erin (Kirsten Dunst), risks a similar fate to that of Alex and Lauren, so the Crow's mission is especially urgent. Featuring an excellent soundtrack with music from Filter, Hole, and Tricky, THE CROW: SALVATION is a powerful third film in THE CROW series.

  • Wow. Amazing movie!

Honestly, Everyone knows that nothing is better than the first The Crow with Brandon Lee, but I actually really liked this one! Right after I bought this, we watched The Crow City of Angels, and it was not the best thing ever. Too much supernatural and unrealistic things happened in City of Angels, where as Salvation was a lot like the first. It was sort of realistic (without the whole, crow bringing human back to life thing, lol) and Salvation was very good. not better then the first and definitely not the best movie EVER but you have got to see it at least once if you have already seen the first one. Kirsten dunst is an AMAZING actress, I love her in this movie.

  • makeup says a lot

The acting was good for the most part, except for Ms Dunst who was outstanding. I see why she has been chosen to be in the Spiderman movies. Mr. Mabius was believable, but did not look as "troubled" and angry as he should. The make up was too ficticious. If its going to look fake it should have been painted like in the previous movies. In the "City of Angels" the scene where the makeup was applied was super fantastic, filled with an eerie surrealism that transported you to where it took place. You even felt the cold and damp environment of the place, the movie came alive. I was expecting something "larger than life" in this one but it did not happen. Make-up says a lot, and so little was said in this one. The cinematography was believable and well achieved. The color balance could have ...

  • Much better than 2, maybe better than 1 as well!

I was a little wary of buying this DVD after watching the horrid Crow 2! I kept remembering, so I thought, that I'd seen a Crow sequel that I really enjoyed, so I took a chance. I was glad I did! This installment takes place not in a really big city like LA or Detroit as before, but in Salt Lake City. The movie starts out with 21 year old Alex Corvis being sent to the electric chair after 3 years of failed appeals. Corvis was convicted of murdering his rich family girlfriend, stabbing her 53 times. Corvis' contention was that a man with an odd pattern scar on the inside of his forearm actually did it ala "The Fugitive." As Corvis is frying, he sees the scarred man in the gallery. An electrical storm causes a surge that horribly burns his face. After, while lying in the prison morgue, A ...

  • The third one gets it Right!

This movie is almost as good as the first, story-wise. The character of Alex is right up there with Eric Draven... both played by fine actors who know how to run the gamut of emotions required for this role. Eric Mabius is not an actor I'm familiar with, but now I want to see him in other movies. Like the first two movies, alot of the secondary characters are played by very solid character actors, some that have gone on to become to quite well known in modern day television shows---like Walton Googgins and Tim DeKay. Since others have already relayed the plot details I'll spare elaborating on it any further. Suffice to say, this was a really good installment in the Crow series. I honestly believe the quote on the front of the DVD case---"The Best of the Crow sequels." Enough said ...

  • If you love the original Crow, you'll love Salvation!

In my opinion, Salvation is just as action packed as the original Crow with Brandon Lee. Same story line, where Alex Corbis is wrongfull accused of a crime and executed, only to come back to life to avenge his girlfriend's killers, in which he was wrongfully accused of. Packed full of action, yet a little hard to find. Disk I bought here plays great without flaw, exactly like new. So definitely pick up this movie if your a Crow fan!
