    Entertaining, family style movies. No sex cursing or political preaching.

    Engaging, fun movies. Although Toler is not Chinese, the character of Chan is portrayed in a very positive ( although his Chanisms are sometimes over the top). Sen Yung is always a joy to watch.

    Best of the Chan Series

    Big fan of old classics. Volume 5 is the last of the Fox Charlie Chan series and has one of the best "Castle in the Desert". I only wish that movies makers took study on the fabulous films of the 30's thru the 70"s. My opinion is that when we went from black and white to color we are missing a lot. The nuances of black and white and the effects that are lost in color I think are lost forever. If you want 7 wonderful movies on detective mysteries get this volume.
