As a poor Irish-Italian growing up in 1950s New York City, Hill (Ray Liotta) rises through the ranks of his Brooklyn neighborhood's organized crime branch, and with money from the mob he begins living the good life, complete with a beautiful bride, Karen (Lorraine Bracco), a fancy house, and the best seats at the most exclusive restaurants. A botched robbery lands Henry in prison for a brief period of time, and when he gets released, his reckless infidelities and drug abuse damage his association with his adopted family.Scorsese's film is a visual and sonic onslaught, featuring a brilliant pop-music soundtrack and stunning camera work--including the infamous Steadicam one-take that introduces the audience to the Copacabana's patrons. He uses the songs to infuse a breathtaking, invigorating rhythm into every scene. Dishonest seller w/ misleading item description. The sunglasses I purchased from this seller arrived w/ scratches all over both lenses. Sellers description doesn’t indicate that there are many scratches on both lenses. These sunglasses are unusable. I'm in wheelchair. It takes me half the day to prepare myself for post and it involves other people in order to make that happen. Seller only offered $15 partial refund on a pair of sunglasses that I paid $83.86 for. Very disappointing. Buyer beware!

    Why am I so funny

    Great movie have it on dvd wanted it on Blu-ray for all the extras 2nd disc is all the old time gangsters with my favorite James Cagney!

    One of the greatest Mafia classics of all time looking better than ever.

    Looks great on blu ray. As a movie, it's personally my favorite mobster flick of all time. Based on a true story and carried out to perfection by the cast (half of which would end up on the Sopranos) the story of Henry Hill has it all. The included copy of James Cagney's "Public Enemies" is a nice touch. The special features are the same as most special editions out there.

    excellent gangsta movie, with great sound & in HD. This movie portrays life of a gangsta in the 60's and 70's, but as NARCS move in, this tale take a turn for the worse. See Ray Liotta, Robert DeNeiro, & Joe Pesci as they pull off this blockbuster drama together as GOODFELLAS!
