Not happy with the outcome of the way the item was shipped. It was supposed to be a brand new CD and it came completely smashed because the seller didn’t use common sense and chose to send it in a paper thin mailer which he acknowledged that the post office is rough with the CDs, but tells me it’s rare that happens, which it’s not. common sense lacks with this seller & eBay. seller/eBay were not helpful. Cd was completely smashed. Do not purchase from this seller. Dishonest! Avoid at all costs.

A great Christmas classic but Black & White Movie..Actors on the picture shown in color.
This DVD is a great Christmas Classic, but I personally have a hard time watching Black & White Movies due to all the gray shadows...although this DVD Movie itself Does have a clear picture. The eBay Item Picture of this DVD's CFront Cover shows the Main Actors in Color which led me to believe that this Movie is a 'colorized' version (as so many of the older Movies are now days). The description of this Movie does Not state if it's in Color or Black & White. This Movie is a 'sister' to the Christmas Classic Movie 'A White Christmas' which IS in vibrant color. I was a bit disappointed that this one wasn't. Christmas colors are glorious and magical... A Loveable, Laughable Romp Through the Holidays
Great example of Crosby & Astaire doing what Bing & Fred do best. Mild pro-war patriotism indicative of the times, but not overdone. After Bing sings about freedom, accompanied with films of Roosevelt & MacArthur, Fred comes out and gives one of his finest solo tap numbers, accompanied by exploding cherrybombs and firecrackers that alone is well worth the price of the DVD. Astaire and Reynolds perform a couples routine to "Be Careful, It's my Heart" that still takes my breath away every time I see it. When Bing isn't crooning those great Irving Berlin tunes, he shows that easygoing, laid back humor that endeared him to his fans of the forties and beyond. He is in his prime in this film. The story gets a little sappy toward the end, but the great songs and dance numbers make it worth putting up with a little syrupy sentimentalism. All-in-all, a loveable, laughable romp through the holidays with plenty of song and dance. If that's your thing, you can't go wrong with this one!

Fantastic Movie!!!
My mom is almost 92 years old and this is from her generation as it came out when she was 15 years of age. It was on the other night and we watched it together and it is such a fantastic movie in every aspect...the singing, the dancing. The whole story line is great as is the entire cast. A must have for movie collectors!!!

Excellent Holiday movie
Holiday Inn is an oldie but goodie. Very entertaining epic from a time when movies were designed to bring a smile to a weary soul. I've loved this movie for years. I'm so happy I found it available on eBay.
