    Times Expedition watch

    I love my new Timex Expedition watch, it's light and stylish, dependable. I have an older one as well I use for work, the leather strap finally broke, I bought a new Sport Strap, velcro for it. Couldn't be happier.

    Rugged good looks and value.

    I've been drawn to the Timex Expedition line for their durability, value, and reliability. Timex has once again given us a fantastic watch at a great price point. The dark dial looks beautiful behind the very clear mineral crystal. The white hour and minute hands offset against the black dial makes it easily readable. The calendar window is framed which gives the watch a much more finished look. All that and the incredible Indiglo feature, which (IMHO) is one of the greatest watch advancements ever, makes this watch a winner.

    The dial face seems a little cheap for this model.

    Like most of my other Timex models, I do like this one. But the numbers on the dial face sure seem cheap. Sort of reminds me of a cheap Chinese watch. I do like the band, and the design.

    Poor quality watch

    Second Expedition Timex watch I bought . First watch kept time for about 1 year . Date function stopped advancing and is a mechanical set. Replaced battery after it died at about 15 months cost $9. Watch stopped completely 2 weeks later leaking water vapor inside as seal no longer was water tight . Bought second Expedition Timex on ebay again . Very good looking watch comfortable band . Second new Expedition watch went dead after 2 weeks and date function stopped working too . Poor quality control by Timex company . At one time Timex watches were a good buy no longer . Trashed both watches and bought a Casio watch . Not saying it will be long lasting however has a 10 year battery in it .

    Very nice watch I think he only fall back on it is the date is rather small and hard to read but everything else about to watch is really nice
