The product is doing the job.
I'm familiar with the product--I've had and it have been using it to record live shows of my Camelia Latin-jazz Band, but mine developed a problem where the red recording light would go on and stay on, and wouldn't let me record. But I've also had it for more than 10 years. I went online to buy a new one and found out that the manufacturer doesn't make them anymore. So I was glad I found this 2nd-hand one online. Pros & cons: Pros: the mics are okay. There is a line-in and a line-out. There is a tripod mount. Cons: There are a lot. The video quality is bad. Any cell phone will give better quality video. A lot will give similar audio quality. It drinks batteries so get an ac adapter. You have to buy an SD card and you better get one that the camera recognizes. I tried a couple. I use a PNY Optima. If you have a good cell phone and just record practices and such then get a good recording app and a stereo mic adapter and a couple of decent mics if needed.
