Seller Notes: “Now here is an unusual listing and one that is sure to bring some excitement! I have 3 of these ... “Now here is an unusual listing and one that is sure to bring some excitement! I have 3 of these famous diesels (Famous because there just were not that many sent across the pond to the US in 1:1 Scale). They are Unit #'s 4001, 4002 and 4003. The headlight and number boards do not illuminate presently. Likely a burned out incandescent bulb that could be replaced with an LED and appropriate resistor. Each loco has a powered rear truck and a free rolling front truck. Kadee Couplers! They each run quite well and are a bit noisy from sitting for quite some time. They would each benefit from a light wheel cleaning and relubrication and break-in. While not DCC Ready, there is room inside for you to hardwire a decoder and convert them to DCC and even add a speaker and a keep-alive since the front truck is not powered there is all sorts of room to work with! Original box and foam insert included although the foam is starting to deteriorate and will need to be replaced. Sold AS-IS.”
