    Fun retro gaming

    The system that I received was an original GameBoy color. It has decent graphics, but no backlight so must be played and well lit areas. Pokémon yellow is a great game with turn-based fighting and role-playing. Pokémon yellow has special differences from the other Pokémon games that make it extra charming. The one I received it with this order did not function correctly. However, I played it when it first came out circa 1998 and loved it. I highly recommend it as it is a mostly wholesome game for a young player.

    The color is awesome and it was quick to come in. Only issue was it needed to be deep cleaned and the volume doesnt work. Not a deal breaker for me though

    Better than what I had expected!

    Got a kiwi gb color to bring back memories of when i got it when it came out in 98. Oh boy did it ever! Gonna be 33 soon and wanted to get back into the nice feeling of it in my hands and a actual button. I also bought pokemon red and blue! Omg.     Enjoying the Game Boy!!

    My 5 year old son was the recepient of the color game boy. We had some games from the broken one and so needed a replacement. My son likes the game boy. It entertains him for a while. He likes that it is small, portable and can go wherever he goes. The carrying case is ideal. Not only does it hold the game boy, but it stores the light and cartridges. Sometimes Daddy and Mommy get to play as well. It could be hours if entertainment and is fun! It is very easy to operate. The only drawback on the color is that the screen is very dim. The light for the game helps, but it almost has to be used in a well lit area. I also wish that the games/cartridges were still available in local stores.

    Nothing like playing on the classics!

    I recently bought a used Lime Green Game Boy Color. Can you say, flash back?! I love playing on my Game boy like I used to years ago! Even though I'm now 21, have an Xbox 360 and a bunch of games, nothing brings me back like sitting on the couch with my Game Boy playing an old pokemon game! :P My only complaints for the Game Boy Color is that it doesn't come standard with a rechargeable feature, and there isn't a LED ligthed back screen. But those can be easily fixed for a small price. A worm light will fix the dark screen and you can either play with it plugged in, buy rechargeable batteries, or buy a rechargable pack for the game boy. I love mine and I'm very glad I bought it. :)
