Very good quality, Great Value, Highly Recommend the set.
Their Perfect! From small herbs & resins, to roots and large blooms, to barks these are perfect sizes to choose from for the task. All stack neatly together to save space in the pantry or supply cupboard. The set I have is between the small and medium size in this set, too large from fine grinding, too small for my larger blooms, leaves, roots and bark grinding. Well Worth what I paid for them. Thick and durable, should last for years and be able to pass down to my grand daughter who loves helping me. Their Perfect! The product it's self was exactly what I had been looking form however I don't use this for spices. I actually use these for crushing up medications fr my horse to maje it easier to either put medications in with grain or make a paste to give In the mouth these work perfect. I had only one issue and it was not with product but with the shipping. When they arrived it was a set of three different sizes. Unfortunately the center bowl was actually broken on arrival. I how ever was apleft to super glue that one. Good thing the larger bowl was the one I was actually planning on using mostly anyway but thought was nice the have the different sizes to choose from and is why I purchased the set of 3. This is my first set of mortar/pestle for home lab use. They are thickly constructed and solid. Great set for kitchen, lab, etc. The three different sizes are sure to provide an appropriate option for any grinding needs. Smallest size seems great for grinding pills for pet medications or powdering some black peppercorns for a dish or rub. Middle size is just right for grinding and blending, while the larger size could easily powder enough sugar to ice a small cake. The pestles are think and sturdy, and the raw ceramic surface on the pestle-face and interior of the mortar make even very fine powder fairly quick and easy to achieve.This is my first set of mortar/pestle for home lab use. I've been grinding jalapeno, which is, btw, amazingly toxic, and these are great for that, and most herbs. The three sizes in this set come in handy, they clean easily and well - though they are a bit fragile, what good is an indestructible plastic mortar. They're lighter than marble, though, so keep a grip on it while grinding.
