    Little House Lite

    The Pilot episode was a duplicate disc, Season One disc 1.Season One disc 2 is missing. Not worth the cost of shipping back. Always loved the series. Good entertainment for everybody

    Little House "A New Beginning!" ):

    I must admit that this season was quite a disappointment to me. First:Charles and his family left the show, leaving Melissa Gilbert as the big star of the show. Since Michael Landon wasn't their to support her it just did not go well! Second:the show went downhill because it no longer remained as steadfast to good values and morals. Third: they made the Carters so close to the Wilders when that just didn't look right!! Fourth: they shifted some parts of the show towards a whiny, annoying little boy, Jason Carter. Of course this is only my opinion. But of course there are good points for it. Mr. Edwards kept the show alive, and I'm so glad they kept him on!! Jenny Wilder does a good job and keeps the kid attitude at a similar stance as it used to be. And thank God the Olsens are still ...

    Season 9 Review

    Definitely not a lot of effort went in to this last season, which was really called Little House: A New Beginning. I know Laura Ingalls Wilder is supposed to be the main character. But quite frankly, without Michael Landon as Charles, it definitely leaves a lot to be desired. The season betrays it's fan base and insults our intelligence by pretending certain things that took place before didn't happen. For example, in an earlier season, the old Hanson house which was purchased by Harriet Olseson was donated to be used as a blind school, later burning to the ground. Well in season 9, it has resurrected, and we're supposed to forget that it ever happened! Also Almonzo's brother Royal, who had 2 sons in an earlier season, now magically has only one daughter, Jenny, who ...

    Little House on the Prairie - Season 9

    I bought this for my Grandmother. She loves the series and the DVDs have no commercials! Since I have stared buying the DVD for my Grandmother I have started to watch the shows with her. I have memorized the script. Prime time TV has sunk in 25 years and I am amazed that we have allowed the three major networks and cable to put that cesspool of thrash into our brains! I would like to personally thank Mrs. Wilder for her "Little House" books that led to this television series. If Mrs. Wilder only knew the classic that she created. This is the kind of TV show that should be on the air, not the corruption, filth, and vulgarity, that is on today. The more I watch this show, the more I am sickened by modern television.
