He's right--the chemistry between the two stars is excellent, and the black-and-white photography by Joseph Ruttenberg is gorgeous. What I love the most about this film is the deep love and respect between them! Also how they work together, tirelessly, until they find Radium! The actors are amazing! All of them! Very entertaining! Also very tragic and sad at the end. Very well done! One of those films that you can watch and enjoy every minute.

It focuses on her dogged determination to isolate radium Even as the new element caused radiation burns on her hands, she never wavered in single minded effort to accomplish her goal. Throughout the movie MS Curries genius was revealed on several levels, from the classroom to the lab and her personal life she excelled. It wasn't until the death of her husband that we saw a crack in her armour.
