    Tom DeLonges's wonderful side project

    I started to listen to blink-182 back in the year of 2000 and I have liked them ever since. But sometimes I get quite tired of their unserious music, not becasue it's bad, but just because it sometimes is too much. Box Car Racer's selftitled album is much darker than any of the blink-182 albums and much more serious too (even if the last blink-182 was serious). The songs are about the end of the world and stuff like that. Tom also shows his poetry side of writing lyrics. If this, like I said, is the dark side och Tom DeLonge then Angels & Airwaves is his positive one. If you like blink-182, but even more so a little more hardcore punk-rock or trash, this is a great album. A litte harder, a little tougher and much more serious than blink-182 have ever been.

    Why I Purchased This Amazing CD

    My favorite bands are Blink 182, Rancid, Greenday, Pennywise, and many other punk-pop and pop-rock bands. Box Car Racer has Tom and Travis from Blink and one song with Tim Armstrong from Rancid. It is just an awesome CD and also such a great oppurtunity to see such talented musicians and artists come together to do something a little different and have it just work. They didn't have to try hard, it just works and the music is great. If you like any of the bands I listed above, you'll love Box Car Racer, I highly recommend getting it.
