Product is a waste of money
The product is not easy to use or setup. I am an IT professional and thus I knew how to update firmware, and find software packages that are compatible with windows 10. After several hours of work, I have it hooked up and functioning. However, I found that when the software was enabled it distorted the screen resolution on the host PC, and projected a clear image. The quality and performance issues are reason enough not to go near this equipment. The product is not easy to use or setup. DID NOT WORK FOR ME.....
Tried on several different TV/Monitors and with several source items: tablet; Laptop; Smartphone (android) and it would not connect. Was hoping to wirelessly stream data from my small tablet to my larger flat screen in my workshop, but NOTHING DO'IN!!! Maybe you may have better luck.

Skip the cables with some fiddling
When I have the right device to go with it, that is a Miracast-compatible device, then it works decently well. The range seems a little limited but I don't have anything to compare it to. Newer Windows 10 laptops should work with it, but newer Android phones don't because they went to Chromecast, which this doesn't support. So 3 of our 4 Android devices work, but none of our older laptops.
