Conspiracy Entertainment and 49 Games team up again to bring North American gamers their second round of frigid athletic events in Winter Sports 2: The Next Challenge. Players can strap on their winter gear and try 15 unique disciplines spread across nine different sports, including the new snowboard half-pipe contest. All 19 levels from the first game return, and there are 13 new levels and arenas for gamers to experience as they make their way through the 42-challenge campaign. Certain events support the Wii Balance Board, and multiplayer modes include four-player "Hot Seat" action in some events, and two-player split screen contests in selected other events.

    Mean commentators

    We started playing this game right after Christmas. My 11 year old is an avid skier. The commentators are so mean that he left the room in tears. I did eventually learn how to mute the commentators, but the feeling that we got from this game was one where we were inferior and it set up a feeling of animosity. I didn't like it and feel like they could have made it more family friendly. Most of the wii games are pretty good, but this one, if you don't start off as simply an excellent player, makes you sound like a real loser. I was unimpressed.

    A Real Challenge

    This is by far one of the hardest games to master I have ever played! I should be in a body cast I've crashed so much. I love games, I love winter sports...so perfect fit....but WOW is it tough. It is truly motivating to be able to do well. So if you are tired of being able to whiz through any game, this is for you. I dare you to take on the Challenge!

    Winter Sports 2: The Next Challenge for Wii

    This game is great, especially is you have a balance board. Winter Sports 2: The Next Challenge, includes life-like animations, commentators, and great compatibility with the balance board. There are a wide variety of sports as well as difficulty levels, so you will not get bored with this game.

    Wii Winter Sports 2

    My wife and I love it. We picked up a Wii Fit with balance board a couple months ago and searched all over for this game to play with it. I was so pleased when I was able to locate it on ebay and how quick it arrived to my door. The game works smoothly with the Wii Balance board. Wish there was more games like this one.

    It's fun!

    It works well with the balance board. Fun game and challenging. The bob sledding is out of sight. On the big screen it's so realistic you can fall off the board.
