This is a favored movie of my granddaughters. They checked it out from the library several times so I thought they should have one of their own. I received it in good time. It looked in good condition. Didn't see it myself.

Barbie and the Diamond Castle
I bought the DVD for my Barbie-loving daughter, and overall was pleased with this latest movie from the huge franchise that is "all things Barbie." The thing I like the most about the Barbie movies is that the music is always excellent, and the music from "The Diamond Castle" is no exception. Several of the original songs are very catchy (including the song "Connected" sung by Catherine McPhee during the ending credits). A bonus is that you can download sheet music from Barbie.com, and sing/play the songs at home. I'd prefer fewer "cutesy and/or talking animals" and maybe for once a story that didn't also include "the handsome prince" in some form(always coming to the rescue), but overall I enjoy watching "Barbie and the Diamond Castle" with my daughter, especially as it covers the ...
