About this product

Product Information

The antics of The Flintstones have been well documented over the years, in both the video game and cartoon realms. Representing their Game Boy Advance debut, however, is The Flintstones: Big Trouble in Bedrock, a platform adventure that pits Fred against the evil Dr. Sinister. The villain has kidnapped Barney and to rescue his best friend, Fred must make his way through four themed environments -- from Bedrock, to a haunted house, to Dr. Sinister's Island -- each of which comprises a number of sub-levels filled with enemies, obstacles, and traps to impede Fred's progress.

Able to double-jump and perform a turbo dash maneuver, Fred will have to carefully traverse platforms and spike pits while making use of the numerous items that cross his path. Bowling balls, clubs, cactus coolers, and bronto ribs can be acquired to help keep the pterodactyls, spiders, and malicious paperboys at bay. In a fine tradition of the genre, the accrual of a requisite number of clams (in this case, 50) will reward Fred with an additional life. Still cut-scenes, accompanied by text, explain the storyline and detail the interactions between Fred and familiar Bedrock denizens such as Wilma, Betty, and Gazoo. Away from the main adventure, players can listen to the many voice samples and music tracks included in the title.

  • fun game

This is a nice game for the children as well as me. fred flintstone doesn't have to kill a bunch of people or blow up a city block to get to the next level. however,i am a little disappointed that you can't save your progress in the game, you start from the beginning each time but the kids think this is cool because it allows them to know the game and they fly fromm level to level once completed. over all its a very nice game. thank you

  • The coolest game on GBA

I rented this game several years ago at Blockbuster and I found it surprisingly fun to play. Then I wanted to buy it but I couldn't find it in any store since it wasn't a popular game at that time and had probably never been. Anyway, if you ever find this game somewhere, don't hesitate to buy it because it's really worth it.

This Game is too hard to play and to figured out. You have to be a college professor to figure this game out.
