Capcom's long-running series about zombies, bioterrorism, and political machinations continues with four distinct campaigns, overhauled controls, and four-player co-op in Resident Evil 6. One campaign begins with Leon S. Kennedy and his partner Helena Harper attending an anti-bioterrorism speech by the President of the United States, only to be forced to kill him when he becomes an infected mutant. A second campaign features Chris Redfield and Piers Nivans as they head to China to battle the spread of a powerful new strain known as "C-virus."<br><br>The third campaign takes place in Eastern Europe and stars Jake Muller, son of series antagonist Albert Wesker, and Raccoon City survivor-turned government agent Sherry Birkin, as they flee from a biomechanical abomination know as an Uranak. The fourth campaign can only be unlocked once gamers finish the first three, and it stars longtime series antihero Ada Wong. All three main campaigns offer co-op support, and some sections of the game combine two groups for four-player action; while the new "Agent Hunt" multiplayer mode lets PS3 gamers become monsters and infiltrate the campaigns of fellow players.

Good not great
Not the best in the franchise but decent. Good gameplay and good length with the multiple different points of view depending on character. Add it all up and it's a long game. Some characters gameplay better than others.

Another great addicting action game.
Don't buy into all the unnecessary hate. RE6 is a very fun game. The gameplay feels incredible and provides some rather addicting gameplay. The game is also a blast in co-op and features split-screen which is a major plus in my book. The game features a load of content which could keep you playing well above 80 hours. Yes the game has some weak bosses here and there and few weak segments like a horrible swimming section. But when you stand back and look at the whole game the good stuff totally out weigh the bad. I highly recommended checking this game out and going into it with out any exceptions for a horrible game. It's not a horrible game but you surly won't enjoy it if you go into the game looking flaws.Don't buy into all the unnecessary hate. RE6 is a very fun game. Resident Evil 6 no longer scary, but still a solid fun game
Capcom got the controls down pat for the first time in the series. The game looks really good, there were some neat graphics and details to the creatures. Negatives- They went with a formula to the campaign that made the play out very similar, using many popular gaming schemes for example throughout all of them there are times where you have quick time running events similar to Uncharted series. To me when they added these wrinkles in the game it just felt cheap. They added a new icon display you can pull up to direct the player to the objective similar to Deadspace/cod. To me they added all the things going for other gamers and in the meantime lost a franchise that use to be survival horror. There are not many moments that scare anymore, the game feels and plays more like an action ... Capcom got the controls down pat for the first time in the series. On a personal preference I dont like the perks/system that they use instead of leveling up weapons you have perk/skills and I am not thrilled with. The stamina health is great way to make close quarters combat fun and yet keep someone from just spamming meelee throughout the game. The meelee includes over the top moves similar to those found in a professional wrestling ring that are tongue in cheek funny. Once again while they are neat and feel over powering, its hard to be scared when you are laughing or laying the smack down on zombies. The game is a really good game, its just dissappointing that this is the direction a once awesomely scary franchise went.

RE6 is a good game. Based on the previous RE5, the survival horror feel to the franchise has faded away but finally I could say that this entry satisfied me with moments of ohhh's and ahhh's. The familiar zombie enemies from the original RE games have come back from the grave and made me feel like Im finally playing a Resident Evil title and not another "Action Evil 5"(RE5) and its been years since I felt that since last I played RE3 nemesis which is my favorite along with RE2 of the franchise! :D I recommend RE6 to anybody looking for a horror game made like a movie, a great RE game that has a little bit of everything that has made Resident Evil today.RE6 is a good game.
