    Covers many bases

    So I got this for a bit more Marshall tone. This amp is a beast. The norm/deep switch really fattens up the tone of thinner sounding pickups. Lots of distortion on hand but not muddy or floppy. The two overdrive choices are great. Crunch gets you in the plexi ish ac/dc arena but there's plenty Crunch to be had and I'm not talking the Cap'n Crunch. Overdrive is Wow mesaish but more articulate. Online didn't do this amp justice. I hope they make a 50 or 100watt version in a 2112 combo . Tone knobs are very user friendly. As I wouldn't use this for touring it's pretty loud and is great for home or small club. Just a great fun head.

    Okay, but no Soldano.

    It works fine, but doesn’t have enough oomphenagle to push my 212 cab. I bought a SLO pedal to push it. We’ll see if it helps.
