About this product

Product Information

A hero is born, in this interactive adaptation of Christopher Nolan's 2005 comics-inspired cinema. Based directly on the movie, the Batman Begins video games are designed to allow players to discover the Batman as for the first time, by exploring the roles of both young Bruce Wayne and his fledgling alter ego.

In addition to the combat one would expect from any adventure featuring the grim hero, gameplay involves exploration and stealth. Batman's famous utility belt comes into play, as different gadgets allow him to reach remote areas, survey situations from a safe location, and unleash surprise attacks. The film spotlights its heavy-duty interpretation of the Batmoblie, as well, and the highly versatile vehicle is featured in the game's combat racing sequences.

Game characters are designed to look like their silver-screen counterparts and are voiced by the actors featured in the film, including Christian Bale as the dark hero, Liam Neeson as mentor Henri Ducard, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, and Cillian Murphy as Dr. Jonathan Crane. Unlike earlier Batman games of the 128-bit generation, Batman Begins is published by Electronic Arts.

  • The Best Batman Yet!!!

Pros + Terrific graphics with classic unlockable costumes. + Stealth gameplay much in the style of 'Splinter Cell'. + Driving the Batmobile is fun but short. Cons - Follows the movie to closely instead of going in its own direction. - Combat is not very fun. - No huge boss battles. Fighting bosses feels like fighting normal thugs. Comments This is the best Batman yet. The stealth factor is fun but it would be nice to be able to explore Gotham freely. Being able to unlock classic costumes provide a little replayability but not too much. The game is still fun & different than any other superhero game out there. Verdict Must have for any Batman fan & must play for anyone who likes either stealth play or superhero games.

  • Great graphics, fun to play, but could've been better

Batman begins was a lot of fun for me and my girlfriend. I thought the graphics were very cool, but the missions weren't very difficult and there were no alternatives to completing a mission. Basically, there was only one way to do a mission. If you are looking for a challenge, then I would say it's not your best bet. However, I do like challenging games, and although it lacked challenging missions that tested your thinking, it was still fun (I really enjoyed the movie!) If you enjoyed the movie then you'll love the game, because it follows the movie almost scene by scene.

  • Great Game!

If you loved the 2005 film, "Batman Begins", then you'll enjoy this game. The best way to describe it, is to say that almost everything that happens in the movie, happens in the game, plus more. It's almost like an interactive director's cut of "Batman Begins". Highly recommend to any Batman fan!

  • Best Batman game so far

I had lots of fun with this game, and the extra's are cool. like commentaries, batmobile races, and my favorite , costumes. After you finish the game once, you can use one of the four different Batman costumes to play again. The extras are a nice thing but the game is a bit short. I'll probably see the movie more times than I'll be playing the game though. Bid wisely =)

  • batman begins

There are few good points to this game, so ill bring them up first. It is a very good adapation of the story from the film. Also it can be very fun finishing off the baddies. Now the bad stuff. This game is incredibly uncreative. You are very limited in your fighting moves and your environment. It's ridiculously linear. There are no decisions to make, AT ALL. It leaves you almost with a feeling of helplessness. There is really nothing particularly unique to this game, which is really dissapointing considering the endless possibilities. on top of all that, the audio mixing was poorly done. I do not really recommend this game unless you are a HUGE fan of the movie, or you are a low skill gamer.
