    Loose and Wobbly Hand Crank

    The reel I received had a loose and wobbly hand crank. This is strange, because I have two other Pflueger Supreme XT reels that were of good quality.....The reel I purchased was a size 40, the largest they make.....There was an earlier model of the Supreme XT which had a dark blue body, and gold accents. They did NOT make a size 40 in that earlier set....Those earlier models (blue and gold) were very good quality. Maybe Pflueger has a new manufacturer ? In any case, I am not happy with this reel with the black body and the copper colored accent in size 40....

    AWSOME Reel

    Only had the pleasure of using my new reel one time so far . Everything seemed to work just fine , drag very smooth , and long casts . Equally as good as my shimano 4000 stradic reel ! Keep up the good work pfluger !

    I own a Patriarch XT, a Supreme XT, a President XT and 2 President...for those looking for a good, solid reel at a great value, the President is your reel, for those looking for a great reel to take your game to the next level, the Supreme is it...super smooth and beautifully built...and for those looking for the ultimate reel under $300, the Patriarch is it! I say under $300, because even though it lists at $250, you won't find a nicer reel without spending well over $300.
