Not a typical time travel show
I started watching this show last season and found it to be a breath of fresh air. Most time travel shows focus in on the actual time travelling and make it a gimmick. With Timeless, the time travelling is the background. The main focus of this show is its characters. You care about them. And things that are changed when they come back from any time period are not solved in one show. Created from Eric Kripke who also created Supernatural, and yes there is an Easter Egg in one episode (look for an Impala in another time). Plus, it is one of the only shows in recent memory that actually teaches history. It makes me want to look up facts about history and see how close they got. I've heard of teachers showing Timeless in class! When was the last time a TV show gave us something to think and ... Timeless season one
One of my favorite shows now on cable. Love the characters, historical plot, humor and romance. This show has a little bit of everything. Baffles me as to why they were considering canceling it. Lucy and Wyatt are adorable and I’m cheering for their relationship to win over Jessica. Rufus is a riot.

The show follows a steller plot of a criminal attempting to change time and a small team of heroes trying to stop him. The show was created by Eric Kripe (creator of Supernatural) & Shawn Ryan (writer on Angel). The DVD set is good. I'm actually surprised NBC/Universal allowed the deleted scenes to be put on here, as they usually don't. The set is made nice, with each disc having its own secure place, and there are episode descriptions. The only complaints I would say is the slipcover is too tight for the DVD case & annoying, and putting JFK on the cover is a bit deceptive. The control over the discs is lacking & annoying as to it may jump back and make you watch the same logos and information again. And they could have put the deleted scenes with each episode instead of in a separate ... Time Travel, great television
If you love time-travel, this show is for you. Good characters and situations meticulously researched built around real and actual historic events. The show is on Hulu, but like Netflix, Hulu does not keep shows like this on for extended periods of time. In my opinion, this show is easily a once-a-year repeater. I purchased this because when it's no longer in the lineup, I will want to see it again. Lastly, the second season is not as good as season one until it gets near the end. The NOT included finale is sold separately. It's great.If you love time-travel, this show is for you. It's Time For More Timeless!
I absolutely love season 1 of Timeless, and can't wait till season 2 is released. I don't normally binge on a tv series, but this was the exception. I really hated to see it end. If there is a show that deserves a third season, it's this one.
