About this product

Product Information

Kittie are a refreshing rarity in the often cookie-cutter world of pop music - a heavy metal band made up of four teenage girls. Citing their influences as ranging from L7 to Nirvana, the band (who formed in high school) have recently perfected a signature hard rock sound. On this video, one can learn more about their distinctive history and sound through interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and live renditions of nine songs.

  • just fine

I bought this to replace my old VHS version of it. & I mean that's what it is, its Spit in Your Eye on DVD, it may be a weird copy of it, but its what I needed. It says its a Pantera DVD on the side haha, but if I was looking for accuracy I woulda just bought it off of amazon, I wanted a cheap replacement & that's what I got. DVD works fine.

  • My daughter loves it

I listened to it with my daughter ( like I had a choice) and though it was very rough, it wasnt to bad. She loves it.

  • The best band ever !!!!

I start listening this band like a week and now its my favorite band. This DVD its really cool I recommend it for anyone who likes any rock style.

  • How cute, in a metal sort of way.

Kittie's Spit In Your Eye was the companion DVD released shortly after the Paperdoll EP. In this DVD, we are treated to ten live videos of songs from the debut album Spit, which are great (particularly how wild the crowd gets), but most interesting was the behind the scenes look at the girls themselves. They are adorable! I seriously want to hang out with these girls, they have the exact warped sense of humor my friends and I have. You got to know them without actually meeting them, so that was pretty cool. The DVD is a really awesome look at the bands early career, before Fallon and Talena left, and I wonder now if they have watched it recently. They really seemed to get along, maybe it's a good idea for resparking a friendship. Who knows. King of wishful thinking. :)
