The Pioneer DJ DDJ-SB2 is a 2-channel DJ controller designed for Serato DJ. The top four rubber pads lets you fire Auto Loop, Sampler, Hot Cue and Manual Loop, and the bottom four lets you access Cue, Sync, Play, Cue, and Shift. With large jog wheels, it gives precise control over scratching. Using the trim knob and level meters, you can easily monitor the input volume on each channel. This Pioneer DJ device is compatible with Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 7 with SP1, and Apple Mac OS X 10.8/10/9/10.10.

Works with Linux! I use the DJ program Mixxx. Several points: 1) in miss, you have to load the ddj-sb2 Preset under Options -> Preferences -> Controllers -> DDJ-SB2 -> Load Presets. 2) If you want to use the built-in sound card, you have to set Options -> Preferences -> Sound Hardware to ALSA and Output/Master to DDJ-SB2: USB Audio / Channels 1-2 and Output/Headphones to DDJ-SB2: USB Audio / Channels 3-4 (took me forever to figure that out). 3) If you want to use your computer sound card, chose yours as an option under Options -> Preferences -> Sound Hardware and set Output/Master to system / channels 1-2 and Output/Headphones to system / channels 3-4.Works with Linux! Prefer controller with XLR output
I love Pioneer products. In fact I have a Pioneer DDJ SX2. The only problem i see with this particular unit( even though i dont own this particular model), is that it doesnt have XLR outputs. It has the red and white outputs, and thats the reason i wouldnt get this model. I bought a Denon MC4000 instead, simply because of that fact. If Pioneer made one this small at this price, then sure, i would get it..because, like i've said, I love Pioneer products!!I love Pioneer products. In fact I have a Pioneer DDJ SX2.
