    Great for smoothies!

    This one was a gift for Mom. I already have one I love. I use it every day for smoothies. It goes through fruit and ice cream like a dream. Super easy to clean. Comes with a great, strong, dishwasher-safe cup that fits the blending head perfectly.

    I would definitely recommend this product.

    I have been using stick blenders for many years but not for the usual reason, which is food prep. I’m a soap maker. My old dependable is wearing out so the time has come to purchase something new as a replacement. Recently I’ve had to replace a coffeemaker and that turned into a nightmare of returned products. I found out there are a lot of poorly made appliances out there. I ended up with a Cuisinart. When I decided to purchase a new stick blender, I went right to this brand. It is a lovely plug and play blender with a stainless steel base. How rare is that these days? That same base pops off and goes right into the dishwasher for thorough cleaning. I haven't used it for soap as of yet, just in my kitchen and it is terrific.

    This original model is MUCH better than "new improved version"

    Simple and durable. Ours worked for years before shaft bearings gave out. Unfortunately, the new model (Cuisinart CSB-75) has an inconvenient "safety lock" switch on top of the unit, so this older version is the one to buy.

    Cuisinart CSB76 Blender - A Quick Review

    I purchased this hand-held blender primarily because it is compact, light-weight, and Cuisinart typically makes good products. The blender works very well, with surprisingly fast rotation speed for something this small. It's perfect, for example, for scrambling three dozen eggs at once for a big breakfast get together.
