The seller was deceptive -- the GPU was listed as 'Open Box,' i.e. unused. He did say it was tested and benchmarked, I take no issue that. However, the bios on the card has been flashed to what seems to be a 6950 XT bios, which I'm guessing itself has been modified. This proves the card has a history which the seller concealed. He either did not acquire it new and unused, or did more with the card than simply bench it. I will attempt to fix the bios myself before deciding next actions.
