Entertaining Sequel to A Classic!
I saw "From Dusk Till Dawn" years before I found this sequel. The original was entertaining, and this sequel holds my interest well too. Some sequels do not make the grade, but I think this one does. In it, a group of robbers encounter vampires, and two of them are bitten. The cops have war with them. A couple of attractive girls are in it Tiffani-Amber Thiessen appears in the opening scene, and Maria Checa becomes a vampire later.I saw "From Dusk Till Dawn" years before I found this sequel. This movie is yet another example of filmmakers whoring their movies and/or their names out to be made into grade F straight to DVD garbage. The original movie was written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by Robert Rodriguez and was a very clever and well-made take on the vampire movie and featured some very accomplished actors. FDTD2 stars Robert Patrick and Tiffani Thiessen; well, not really. That's a really crappy thing to do, putting a good-looking young actress's name on the box, and then she's only in the movie for a couple of minutes. Robert Patrick is capable of acting, but this movie gives him nothing to do. I won't bore you by trying to outline the plot; it's just the typical generic some people get bit by vampires and some don't and the ones that don't, win.
