    About Sign Of The Hammer

    « Sign of the Hammer » it is considered by many fans Manowar as last album made by group before they have changed style on more direct and less epic, but making greater commercial success (as an album « Fighting the World »). « Guyana (Cult Of The Damned) » — a song about a mass suicide of 1978, инициированом Jim Dzhounsom, the leader of a cult « the National Temple », in Джоунстауне, северозападная Gyana. « Thor (The Powerhead) » — a song about the Norwegian god to a Torah (as it is clear from the name), destroying a harm, as well as about giants (enemies of gods).     Manowar's Sign Of The Hammer

    If you are a fan of the band, this is a pretty good album from their early years.I liked four songs from this album. The best one is 'Thor (The Powerhead)'. Other good songs are 'All Men Play On 10', 'Sign Of The Hammer', and 'The Oath'. For the uninitiated, this is a pretty good album to get.

    Underrated record from a classic metal band.

    Classic metalheads will enjoy this seldom played album, but it may sound dated to the new school metal folks. I grew up in the era that this record is from and it sounds just as good to me now as it did then. Give it a try and you just may like it, if its good enough for House of Hair- it must be good.
