    Unfortunately; they don’t make them like this anymore.

    After purchasing and retuning three brand new portable cassette recorders from highly reliable electronics retailers, I purchased this used Panasonic that is identical to one I once owned. Except for some expected dust and dirt here and there that was easy to clean, the unit seems practically new. Everything works perfectly including the tape counter. Amazingly, the cost was comparable to the new units that I had purchased from the electronic realtors that either didn’t work or were of such poor quality to make them unusable. An excellent product!

    Old but gold

    Box is a bit worse for wear, which makes it all the more impressive that the recorder is in near-pristine condition. Functions perfectly and I've been using it with no issues. Thanks!
