  • AtariMax is a must have for 5200 Fans!

I really enjoy the 5200 AtariMax SD Cart reader. It makes gaming much simpler and convenient. I would say the price is a little steep as compared to the 2600 Harmony Cart, but obviously demand is slightly lower given the fact that there were significantly less 5200 consoles produced and not as popular (supply vs demand). I wouldn't call it a "good value", but it's a must have, and, thankfully, have generous parents that purchased this for me as a gift..I love the product, I just don't know if I would have paid for it with my own funds. `

  • So glad I was able to find this on eBay

This is great, now I can play all the awesome homebrew games! It even comes with a burger time clone game that is really fun! So worth it. Don't let the name full you this will play most Atari 5200 ROM backups too. Now if they only made an Atari 7800 version, or better yet a 7800 evercart that could use the sound of the 5200! (now I am dreaming) but I digress, this is well worth its weight in gold!

  • Atari 5200

Great product, for its age! You need to buy at least a RF port to coaxial cable adaptor to run it on modern flat screen displays, but other than that, everything works without too much difficulty. Controllers are a bit fragile, but that was the biggest issue with the console anyway when it debuted way back in 1982. Looking forward to some nostalgia!
