  • Different from 2nd Edition, but stil an excellent campaign setting

I played Dragonlance all throughout my teenage years in the classic War of the Lance setting. I had no idea that the world had changed so drastically since then. I really preferred the setting in the earlier time period and dislike some of the new developments. However, if you're coming into this without prior knowledge, I still think the Dragonlance world is better than any other in D&D. This book lays out the rules and changes very clearly. The world setting provides a lot of opportunities for interesting adventures. I particularly appreciate the work they did on deities and clerical spells.

  • Great Setting

Dragonlance is a great world setting and this book is well worth the read. Dragons are a big part of this world and the story is a back and forth between good and evil.

  • Dragonlance campaign setting

this book has a wealth of information for dms and players who enjoy the dragonlance setting. it presents all the races, classes, and choices, both iconic, and a little newer, that your love for the books or the 2nd ed version engendered. for those who are not familiar with dragonlance, this campaign setting comes with all you need to learn, adventure in, and grow to love the world of krynn just as much as millions of readers and players already do. and if you are just a dungeons and dragons completist, the wealth of new base classes, prestiges, races, feats, ands spells presented here is a must.

  • Good reference

This book is a good reference for Dragonlance roleplaying, despite the mix between the different ages and different views on the same races and their changes made by time/events. It is intended to be for the Fifth Age, but there are too many references for the War of the Lance. The drawings should really be better, but there is enough of them to call it a good reference, specially for races and maps. There are detailed maps for lots of places, like a small but good map of Solace.
