An all out sleaze n' roll treasure
As far as I know, This is the only album McQueen Street ever released. This album came out in 1991, but after listening to it, it seems like it could've easily been released in the later half of the 80's. The 10 songs on this album simply ooze every conceivable cock rock theme imaginable. I found the song, "In Heaven" posted on youtube and enjoyed it so much that I wanted to track down the hard-to-find CD and hear the rest of the album. The album is fun from start to finish. This is the kind of album that you crank when you're in a partying frame of mind. One song, "My Religion" seems a bit more serious than the other tunes, but nontheless stands as a declaration of one's freedom of religion/independence (a theme most open-minded people will relate to). I wouldn't go so far as to say ... As far as I know, This is the only album McQueen Street ever released. Mcqueen Street memeries
The Mcqueen Street cd I bought is an album I have been searching for, for years. I searched ebay frequently for it and not too long ago I finally found it. I had this cd when I was in high school and I loved it. It got stolen from me and now I finaly have it again. I love this cd and I always will. It reminds me of alot of good times I had and the music is its own. You dont hear music as great as this very often any more......keep rockin, it is in my heart and it should be in yours too..Rock on!The Mcqueen Street cd I bought is an album I have been searching for, for years. McQueen Street (1991), the first of 2 released by the band
I would have to give McQueen Street (1991) a 5 star rating. I have heard many bands from that time period, and this one ranks with the best of them. The lead singer (DW) and drummer (CW) are brothers. All lyrics are written by Derek Welsh. Great Lyrics, Melodies and Harmony, along with a great bass player (RH) and one excellent lead guitarist-Michael Cummings. Also a very good mix with great audio quality. They actually released a second album in 2003 titled "McQueen Street 2" which is extremely tough to find and every bit as good as their first one. I was lucky to find both, however, they did not come cheap. Both are a must have for anyone loving that time period of music.
