    Nice product. Even better value if you buy a good condition used one.

    Very good solid product. Turn knob rotates very smoothly. This product is not as sleek as the Kwikset because it uses the turn knob and is not motorized. Easy to install. However, make sure you write down the programming code from label inside lock first before installing because you'll need to do factory reset and clear out all the existing user codes if you bought this used on eBay. Also, if you bought it new, you would need programming code to put in new user codes. I wish Schlage offered a smart key re-key feature like with Kwikset so we can carry one less key.

    These locks are great but beware

    This is a great, dependable lock. Schlage service stands behind it as well.

    I have 3 of these locks, and have had no issues whatsoever with them. They work flawlessly so long as one keeps good batteries in them. One nice thing about the lock NOT being motorized is that the batteries last much longer. Schlage's customer support is absolutely incredible. One of my locks was looking a little rough on the exterior after 12 years of Kansas Winters and hot Summers. When we put a new door on, I called Schlage to see if I could replace the exterior to maintain appearance. They sent me a new lock immediately - they REALLY stand behind their products. I won't use any brand other than Schlage on our rental properties, my kids homes, or mine.

    No more keys

    I have converted all my locks now and really like the idea of not having a key ring full of keys. With the lighted key pad it is very easy to see after dark. Great for children after school to get inside. With ease of changing the combination you can program a number that your children can remember. You do have to change the battery once a year which is very easy to do.

    Don't Leave Home Without it.

    I have previously purchased three of these. Great quality, easy to use, and installs directly into an existing deadbolt. The lighted buttons and easy grip knob have made this a wonderful item for my father who has Parkinson's. Prior to installing this, my dad would simply not lock his door because it was difficult for him to use a key to unlock it. This keyless deadbolt was the perfect solution.
