It is sad they don't make this one anymore.
Hi: I bought this for my kitchen and we all love it. We have a big screen in the living room but most all the time we gather in the kitchen to watch the local news or local channels on it. We all laugh of how deep this little TV changed the dynamics of us inside the home. Picture is crystal clear, even for a 10 yo TV because it is a Trinitron tube. It works fine with its telescopic antenna and if you have a Universal Remote, you can even tune it or set the volume. Only VHF and UHF, no cable. So you keep that in mind if you buy it to mainly use it at home. Works with 12V DC or 110 AC, but no batteries. On screen display for channel (bar tunning) and volume. No channel preset. Excellent Small 9" Sony Trinitron Color Television ...
I have bought several of these on eBay and really like them. They are excellent for use in my home office, the kitchen, the garage and my wife's dressing table. They have a clear sharp picture and are easily seen and heard across the room. Good for watching the news at the breakfast table. My wife uses one to watch Good Morning America while putting on her makeup in the mornings. One thing to watch out for, though. I bought one from BargainLand and another from DealTree. Be careful of both of these eBay vendors. They deal in lots of electronic items that were returns and they don't test any of them before selling them on eBay. Both of the televisions that I bought from these types of vendors had picture tubes that were worn out. One of these was a refugee from an ... Be careful to ask where they were used before buying because they are very popular with alarm companies for monitoring security cameras. They are likely to have many, many hours on the picture tube. They are also popular with the over-the-road truck drivers and RV crowd because it operates on 12 VDC as well as 120 VAC. Demand from these folks keeps the re-sale prices high even long after they were deemed obsolete by Sony. If you need one for this purpose, be sure to ask if the 12 VDC power cord is included. Many times, this item has been lost and a replacement from Sony parts dept. is expensive. I tried to find something in this size and quality range for my wife's dressing table that would come with the new digital tuner, but I found that there was absolutely nothing available yet except for some really low quality units from China. When watching something this small very close by, a High Definition picture is not necessary in my opinion. So, I am staying analog with this and hooking it up to the cable system. In summary, these are excellent analog televisions. There is nothing else currently available in this screen size that compares with it.

It's a Sony Trinitron, need I say more?
This is a simple small tv. The picture quality is, well it's a Trinitron, Sony's better picture tubes need I say more. This tv is great for the likes of a children's play house/room. Inexpensive and durable also it's solid state so a 1 or 2 foot drop wouldn't kill it. I would recommend this tv anyone and it is a Sony.

Great little TV
I recently received this TV and am very impressed with it. I do, however, wish it had come with a remote as the channel I watch is CBS Channel 5. Channel indicator jumps from ch. 4 to ch. 6. I guess I'll get a universal remote. Also, UPS has a problem with dropping items I have purchased. The frame was buckled and one corner is broken but the TV works fine. Color is excellent and picture is clear..just can't get the one I want right now.I recently received this TV and am very impressed with it.
