    Good, but not great

Multifunction pedals are almost never as good at anything as single purpose pedals are at one thing. But, for the price, this one is an excellent choice for someone who is playing gigs in a bar band or garage band and can't justify spending a gazillion dollars for a dozen pedals and pedal board. I use it with an excellent Epiphone guitar with humbuckers and an adequate, though not especially great sounding solid state Peavey amp. The pedal doesn't sound as good as a real Marshall stack, but it's close enough for rock & roll.

  • Top critical review

    Its 50/50

I bought this with confidence since I've had good experiences with DigiTech pedals in the past.. Not this time though.Got the Rp50 n Everything worked fine until just 1 month and 7 days later and now I think the mother board is fried. No effects produce any sound now and neither does the drum machine. Not a happy camper and I think I'm better off getting a mid to higher end single effect pedal made of metal and not cheap Chinese plastic and electronics.

  • Absolute joy

If you play guitar this item is a must. You can go out and spend the big bucks on effect modules but this has it all. Fifty built in effects and the chance to edit and add to them with delay, phasing, chorus etc. and then save your custom effect in a specific place...very easy. It has more great features also like sounding like different amps. The RP55 is all you need. Add a wahwah with the short cord and you have it made. It was delivered quickly and when the cord was not sent, the seller sent me two to make up for it. Good product for good rockin'

  • Great effects pedal!!

I run this pedal thru a Marshall MG 10 amp on clear channel with an Epiphone Less Paul. Makes my guitar sound like a Gibson Less Paul. I've tweeked some of the pre sets to give me an unbelievable bad ass sound. The pre sets are also incredible! Best thing is being able to customize to my own sound. This pedal covers multiple foot pedal sounds without having to need 6 different effects pedals! Great product at a great price, can't neat it!

  • Button's have become hard to press.

I've owned this effect's pedal for a couple of year's now.It still sound's great with the preset's that I've created but ...the button's have become very hard to press. They don't make contact with the switch's on the circuit board very well anymore. It can be very irritating trying to change the setting's.But for the money it was worth it.I'm still using it.
