This is an interesting period piece from British cinematic history the period being towards the end of WWII. Although the setting is clearly rural the effects of the VI rockets (also once called buzz-bombs, doodlebugs etc.) are in evidence. the sound of the rocket engine passing over is ominous but less ominous than that sound suddenly stopping.
