    US Designed Superior Switch

    Compared to the Taiwanese and Chinese brands (D-Link, TP-Link, Zyxel, Trendnet, etc.) this is a superior switch. It supports many more features including more advanced options like private (vs conventional) VLANs. What's more, the web interface, and documentation, are much better designed and more intuitive. It's fanless, very power efficient, and the uplink ports can be used as conventional ports if they're not used for modules. All SG300 series switches have the exact same feature set. By comparison, Netgear often removes features from their smaller switches within a given series. That's especially important if you're trying to use certain VLAN features across switches. All SG300 switches from the 8 port to the largest models play nice together. The closest competition is probably HP ...
