Not really a gourmet cookbook, this practical, simple cookbook is handy for time-challenged and common ingredient households. There are over 100 recipes in this "inner ring-bound" HC cookbook. There are chicken, beef, and pork recipes, as well as desserts, such as Posole, Spicy Orange Chicken Nuggets, Bacon and Cheese Brunch Potatoes, Lemon and Tangerine Glazed Carrots, and Easy Chocolate ... Not really a gourmet cookbook, this practical, simple cookbook is handy for time-challenged and common ingredient households. There are over 100 recipes in this "inner ring-bound" HC cookbook. the pictures are enticing and the work of a pro and is full of pretty pictures, the few recipes are ok the quality of the book could not be better but for me the pictures mean little. Leave out the pictures and fill it with recipes that would fill the needs of someone who is in no way a cook but likes to eat.

Cathy Mitchell is a great author of food books, lots of easy to follow recipes and beautiful photos of each dinner. Whether you live an active life or have some slower days, her books should be in your kitchen. It's so easy to add the few ingredients to your shopping list and then prepare them quickly so that they will be ready when you are wanting to eat them.

This is an easy to follow cookbook with very simple recipes. The various meals/recipes are very common(non exotic)ingredients typically found in most kitchens and the method of preparation could not be simpler; combine 5 or less ingredients in a slow cooker and full meal will be the result. In my opinion, there is a good variety among a diversity of food groups that should suit a wide variety of tastes in cuisine. People who are new to cooking or consider themselves poor cooks will find an excellent "Slow Cooking Hints And Tips" guide at the front of the book that will help will with typical "how or what to do" questions. Follow the advice and recipes as written; and most people will have successful and tasty meals.This is an easy to follow cookbook with very simple recipes.
